Her death and the location of her grave
She died in the place where she was married to the Prophet Muhammad, and it is located on the road to Medina - Makkah Al-Mukarramah, ten kilometers before reaching the Al-Tan’im Mosque. On the authority of Yazid bin Al-Assam, he said: “Maymoonah was buried in Saraf in the canopy in which the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, built. She was on a pilgrimage. I and Ibn Abbas descended in her grave.” And that was during Yazid’s caliphate in the year sixty-one and eighty years old.
