Al-Arqam bin Abi Al-Arqam is one of the prominent companions of the Prophet Muhammad in Islam. Al-Arqam bin Abi Al-Arqam was one of the first to convert to Islam and played an important role in the early days of Islamic society. He was one of the first seven to convert to Islam, making him one of the first followers of the Prophet Muhammad.

As one of the Prophet's companions, Al-Arqam ibn Abi Al-Arqam supported and assisted the early Islamic community in Mecca. His house, known as Dar al-Arqam, served as a meeting place for the Prophet Muhammad and his followers where they could meet, worship, and learn about Islam away from the persecution of the Quraish tribe, which opposed the new religion.

Dar Al-Arqam

It is the house of Al-Arqam bin Abi Al-Arqam, where the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to meet with his companions at the beginning of Islam. It was a place where the Prophet and his followers would gather, pray, and discuss matters related to the new religion, away from the persecution of the Quraish tribe in Mecca.

According to historical accounts, the Prophet Muhammad continued to call people to Islam from Dar Al-Arqam until a large number of his followers, about forty men, converted to Islam. These early converts played a crucial role in early Islamic society and the spread of Islam.

Over time, Dar Al Arqam became a symbol of the early struggles of the Islamic community. It has been mentioned in various historical sources and Islamic texts as an important site in the early history of Islam. As I mentioned, it is believed that Al-Arqam ibn Abi Al-Arqam stood over the house, and it continued to be the center of the early Islamic community until it was eventually sold by his descendants, specifically by Abu Jaafar Al-Mansur, the later caliph of the Abbasid dynasty.

The story of Dar Al Arqam is a testament to the resilience and dedication of the early Islamic community and their commitment to the teachings of Islam despite the challenges they faced in the early years of the faith.

Jihad Al-Arqam

Al-Arqam bin Abi Al-Arqam was one of the first to convert to Islam and had an important role in the early Islamic community. The Companions, including Al-Arqam bin Abi Al-Arqam, played an effective role in spreading Islam and preserving the teachings of the Prophet.

Praying in the Prophet's Mosque

Al-Arqam, may God be pleased with him, prepared to go to the Holy House, and when he finished his equipment, he came to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, to see him off, and he said: “What drives you out?” Need or trade? He said: “No, O Messenger of God, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you, but I want to pray in Jerusalem.” The Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “A prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers in other mosques, except for the Sacred Mosque.” So the number one sat down

The death of the number

Al-Arqam died in Medina, and Saad bin Abi Waqqas prayed for him. Al-Arqam’s age was eighty-some years old, may God Almighty be pleased with him.
