The Prophet's brother in breastfeeding
Abu Sufyan ibn al-Harith ibn Abd al-Muttalib, his name was said to be his nickname, and it was said that his name was al-Mughirah, the cousin of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the brother of the Messenger through breastfeeding, as Halima al-Sa’diyyah, the Messenger’s wet nurse, breastfed him for a few days. His conversion to Islam was delayed and he was among those who harmed the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
Islam Abu Sufyan bin Al-Harith
God enlightened Abu Sufyan’s insight and his heart to faith, and he went out with his son Ja’far to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, repenting to God, Lord of the worlds. They revealed their faces and said: “We bear witness that there is no god but God, and that you are the Messenger of God”
Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Which stead you expelled, O Abu Sufyan, or when did you expel me, O Abu Sufyan?” Abu Sufyan bin Al-Harith said: “Do not censure, O Messenger of God.” Abi Talib: “Your cousin’s vision of ablution and the Sunnah and take him to me.” So he took him to the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he prayed with him »
Jihad Abu Sufyan bin Al-Harith
From the first moments of his conversion to Islam, he began to make up for what he had missed of the sweetness of faith and worship. No lie, I am the son of Abd al-Muttalib.” In those terrible moments, a few did not go astray, and among them was Abu Sufyan and his son Ja’far. Fadl Abu Sufyan bin Al-Harith
The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to say: “Abu Sufyan is my brother and the best of my family, and God followed me from Hamzah Abu Sufyan bin Al-Harith.” After that, Abu Sufyan was called the Lion of God and the Lion of His Messenger
Abu Sufyan bin Al-Harith was a poet and from his poetry because of his resemblance to the Prophet, peace be upon him
The death of Abu Sufyan bin Al-Harith
One day in the year 2 AH, people saw him in Al-Baqi’ digging a grave, leveling it and preparing it, and when they expressed their amazement at what he was doing, he said to them: “I am preparing my grave.” And after only three days, he was lying in his house, and his family around him weeping, so he said to them: “ Do not weep over me, for I have not uttered a sin since I converted to Islam.” Before he bowed his head on his chest, he waved it upwards, saying a farewell greeting to the world
